CCFR House Number Sign Program

Crisp County Fire Rescue offers a house number sign program to help Crisp County Public Safety Agencies locate our County residents when they have an emergency or need public safety assistance. CCFR personnel install blue house number signs at the end of the resident’s driveway near their mailbox.

House Number Signs Help Emergency Services Save Lives!

Time is our enemy. In an Emergency, locating the caller’s address as soon as possible is the first step in saving lives and property. Time wasted searching for the proper address is one thing many callers to 911 don’t have.

Improper addressing frustrates emergency responders, but it could be deadly to the resident because of the delays that result. Together, we can minimize, if not eliminate, this chronic addressing problem. By requesting a house number sign, you take out the confusion of which house to respond to. This saves time and saves lives and property.

If a county resident needs a house number sign, they can call CCFR Station 1 at 229-276-2660 to request a sign. The resident will need the person’s name, address, and phone number.
