Meet Your County Administrator
The County Administrator is appointed by and directly responsible to the Board of County Commissioners. This position supervises, directs, and controls the county government's daily activities. The County Administrator conducts business operations, supervises multiple departments, and coordinates the activities among those departments, constitutional officers, and outside agencies. The County Administrator implements and enforces Board policies, serves as the recommending authority to hire and fire all department directors under the Board's jurisdiction by official Board action, prepares commission agendas, develops the annual budget, prepares strategic plans, and responds to citizen complaints that department directors cannot resolve. This position also informs the Board of the county's financial condition and attends all county commission meetings.
