APPROVE COST OF LIQUOR BY THE DRINK LICENSE FOR DAPHNE LODGE

Administrator Crapse reported that the owners of Daphne Lodge want to put in an application for liquor by the drink; technically our ordinance says the license is a cost per year and they pay 1/2 the cost if they get the license after July 1st. They asked if the Board would waive that fee and give them the yearly license to start in November or December, so they can have it during the Christmas season. He advised that the Commissioners set the rates and policy, so they can make an exception to the policy. Motion was made by Mr. Faircloth to approve the Liquor License to Daphne Lodge in November or December of this year inclusive with the cost of the 2010 License Fee, seconded by Mr. Mathis, motion carried unanimously.

APPROVE $4,000 TO DARTON COLLEGE

Motion was made by Mr. Mathis to advance a loan of $4,000 to Darton College, seconded by Mr. Culpepper, motion carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion was made by Mr. Culpepper to adjourn the meeting at 1:52 p.m., seconded by Mr. Faircloth, motion carried unanimously.
